Rick Bayless Reflects on Our COVID Year
By Andrew Friedman |Andrew Talks to Chefs
The great Chicago chef Rick Bayless (Frontera Grill, Topolobampo, et. al.) recently wrote a deeply personal essay for Medium about the roller coaster of personal and professional milestones that comprise his year of coping with the human and economic costs of COVID. On this week’s show, Rick expands on the universal themes and observations of the piece in an unscripted, unguarded conversation with Andrew. Every Little Bit Helps
By Andrew Friedman |Andrew Talks to Chefs
You Don’t Have to Be a Hero to Make a Difference to Restaurants at this Tenuous Moment–the Littlest Gestures Can Add Up to Meaningful Support A beautiful long-distance gesture from a faraway fan of Playa Provisions. In my younger and dorkier days, I was pretty well-versed in all things Man of Steel.
